Her mom found the location, and honestly, she nailed it. It was perfect.

Madi Shea 🎀 absolutely showed up for her senior session.

We spent the day exploring some of my favorite locations around DFW, starting at Highland Park Village, making our way to Davis Park, and finishing the evening out at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano. We laughed a lot, talked about exciting things ahead, and kept shooting till there was barely any sunlight left.

I put together 7 of my favorite poses that work for just about anyone and can be adapted to fit your personality, outfit, and location.

Some are perfect for showing off a flowy dress. Some create movement. Some are great for close-up shots, and some work beautifully when you want a full-body image.

Class of 2027… your senior year is closer than it feels.

I’ve already started booking senior sessions for the upcoming school year, and some of my most popular dates are beginning to fill.

If you’ve been thinking about senior photos, now is the perfect time to get your date on the calendar. Booking early means more flexibility with dates, locations, and timing before schedules start getting packed with sports, activities, jobs, and all the things senior year brings.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to know each senior I work with. I love hearing about your plans, your interests, what you’re excited for, and helping create photos that tell a little piece of your story during this exciting season of life. Watching seniors step into their final year of high school is something I never take for granted, and I truly look forward to each and every session.

Whether you’re dreaming of open fields, water, downtown locations, wildflowers, or something uniquely you, we’ll create something beautiful together.

At the beginning of May, I hosted my Class of 2027 Senior Rep Team Meet & Greet, and 11 of the sweetest girls showed up.

We spent the evening having a little picnic, taking photos, laughing, and getting to know each other. By the end of the night, I drove home with a full heart.

This is my second year having a senior rep team, and honestly, it has become one of my favorite parts of being a senior photographer.

Of course I love creating senior photos, but getting the chance to really know these girls is something special. I get to watch their senior year unfold, celebrate their accomplishments, cheer them on through the big and small moments, and be a tiny part of such an important season of their lives.

Starting a Senior Rep Team was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my photography business. Not because of the photos, but because of the people.

Class of 2027, I am so grateful for each one of you already. I can’t wait for all the shoots, adventures, laughs, and fun we have planned this year.

I know putting things off happens. Life gets busy and it doesn’t always feel urgent yet.

But if you wait too long, it can start to feel rushed.

Dates are more limited, you’re choosing from what’s left, and suddenly you need photos sooner than expected for things like announcements or yearbook deadlines.

My turnaround time is 2–3 weeks, so timing plays a bigger role than most people realize.

The good news is you don’t have to have everything figured out right now.

You just need your spot on the calendar.

We’ll plan the rest together. We’ll figure out the best timing, location, and the whole vision in a way that feels easy.

If it’s been on your mind at all, this is a good time to go ahead and book.
