Winter in Florida calls for a boat ride. Am I right? 😁

I'm going through my archives and stumbled upon these edits from my family shoot last year! I was trying a new editing style and I was going for this Ralph Lauren, Cape Cod, 1960's nautical theme. Thankfully, the weather in the winter is still bearable to go out on shoots like this!

Friday blues…but with a touch of red.

So, my obsession with aka continues to grow! I remember as a kid when this pattern was popular and I never quite liked it, but now I do. The blue and white beauties make such a great duo giving a vintage aesthetic. Whether you group your jars empty or filled with flowers, they will make a grand statement all together! Also, this is just a few pieces from my collection!

Ah! I was at the coffee shop editing pictures from a shoot yesterday and I ran into my good sis Skye Brumley! You know that called for a quick 5-minute photoshoot! Love working with her and the results are always phenomenal.

So the sun was setting and we wanted to use the harsh lighting to our full advantage. Also, Skye was dressed up for another shoot. She honestly reminded me of a doll. Lol! But I love shooting in natural light but I'm not a fan of working harsh lighting which is what I had to work with. There's an excessive amount of contrast, shadows, and blown out highlights. But I had to work with the setting.
