GOOD NEWS: I haven’t been on Instagram much in the last week let alone the last 24 hours. But one thing I know for sure is I am so tired of seeing all of the sick and the tired and the divided and the stressed and the sad filling up my feed! So I’m changing the algorithm.

Fun fact: I don’t hate an overcast day. I might even say I prefer it. I mean don’t get me wrong I don’t wanna shoot in a thunderstorm or like a scary gray day. But the softness of a soft gray summer day is SUPER DREAMY to me.

Newborn sessions not your thing — meet: a session at three months. This boy mama and her fellas came to with me for a pure & simple session of smiles and silliness. There is NO bad age to photograph your kids!!

Come on spring. You can do it!! Temps in the mid forties, sunsets are almost at 7! These little glimmers have us southern New Englanders dreaming, hoping, wishing.

Two years ago I took four kids to New Hampshire for a weekend away by myself. For 3.5 hours in the front seat alone — I cried.

At the time, we had just begun to think “This isn’t pneumonia is it? It’s lung cancer isn’t it?” The worst ran through my mind.

He stayed home. I was alone. And thought for 3.5 hours. This is what the rest of my life would be like if I lost him. I hated it. I hated the whole weekend. I did my best to be fun and not be scared and worried. Kids can tell. Especially my girls.

It wasn’t a horrible weekend. We did have fun. Ryan rested at home all weekend. Everything was fine again together that Sunday night. But never forget that weekend, or that ride.

A month and a half later we did find out it was cancer — not lung cancer but stage four metastatic melanoma. But he’s been incredible and two years later I have a sense of strength I didn’t have two years ago.

Cancer takes a lot. A lot. But it gives a lot too. I’ll tell you more about that another night. But for now — , thank you for this treasure. Every single photo with him in it, means the world to us. 🖤

I am feeeeeening for a day above 60. I’d give anything to feel well, to sit enjoy salt air on a shell patio from an adirondack chair, to feel sunshine and warmth on my cheeks. They don’t lie when they say the winter is long. And I like the winter. I do. But I love the other three seasons.

BIG NEWS. 2025 outdoor MSP calendar opens MARCH 1st at 8:00 am for everyone who has pre-booked their 2025 session!! (That means all of you who took advantage of my NYE deal!)

Calendar will open on Sunday March 2nd for everyone who is ready to book their outdoor 2025 session!!

This means spring, summer and autumn. April - October. How can you prepare in the next week? Look at your own calendar for the year. Make a list of your preferred dates for your 2025 MSP session — think especially on location and timing.
