Today we're also celebrating Aidan who graduated from Sheboygan North High School today!

One piece of advice Aidan would give next year’s seniors: enjoy it while it lasts because it will be over before you know it.

This has been a repeating theme and that's because honestly, somehow senior year always seems to fly by faster than anyone expects.

One of Aidan’s favorite memories from this year was spending senior skip day with friends at Elkhart Lake — the kind of simple moments that end up becoming some of the BEST memories from high school.

This fall, Aidan will be attending the University of Iowa to study biology on the pre-physician assistant track as he begins his next chapter.

Aidan, congratulations on everything you’ve accomplished and all the hard work that brought you to this moment. Wishing you so much success and excitement in the years ahead.

Today we celebrate Grace who graduated from Sheboygan South High School today!

One piece of advice Grace would give next year’s seniors: try new things and meet new people...connecting with your fellow students will make your senior year a lot more special!

One of Grace’s favorite memories from senior year was taking her final bows on stage during South High’s play this year. After theatre played such a meaningful role throughout her high school experience, experiencing closing night surrounded by fellow cast members, applause, and celebration made it the perfect final chapter.

This fall, Grace will be attending Colby College where she plans to study Art History and French.

Grace, congratulations on all you’ve accomplished and the passion, creativity, and heart you’ve brought to every stage of your journey. I’m so excited to see where life takes you next.

Today we celebrate Chase Bohman 🎓

One piece of advice Chase would give next year’s seniors: take it all in — the year goes by fast.

And somehow, it really does.

One of Chase’s favorite parts of senior year was simply spending time with his friends and making memories together — the kind of moments that often end up meaning the most when this season is all said and done.

This fall, Chase will be attending UW–Madison as he begins an exciting new chapter.

Chase, congratulations on all of your hard work and everything you’ve accomplished to get to this moment. Wishing you so much success and excitement in all that’s ahead. ✨

Today we celebrate Ellianna 🎓

One piece of advice Ellianna would give next year’s seniors: "Go after what you want. Nothing is just given to you."

And honestly, her senior year is proof of that mindset.

One of Ellianna’s biggest accomplishments this year was breaking wrestling records at South High — an incredible achievement that reflects not only talent, but determination, discipline, and all the hard work behind the scenes.

This fall, Ellianna will be attending UW–Oshkosh as she begins an exciting new chapter.

Ellianna, congratulations on everything you’ve accomplished and the strength and dedication that helped get you here. I’m so excited to see where life takes you next.

Today we celebrate Nolan, who graduated from Sheboygan South High School today!

One of Nolan’s favorite accomplishments from senior year was earning First Team All Conference while spending another season playing basketball alongside his friends — the kind of memories that make senior year so meaningful.

Nolan's advice to future is to "Enjoy it - it goes by fast!" He is right! And I would say his next 4 years will go by even faster!

This fall, Nolan will be attending Carroll University to study Radiology Technology while continuing to play basketball at the collegiate level!

Nolan, congratulations on all of your hard work, dedication, and everything you’ve accomplished to get to this moment. So excited to see all that’s ahead for you in this next chapter.

Today we celebrate Ava, who is graduating from Nathan Hale High School today 🎓

One piece of advice Ava would give next year’s seniors: start working on scholarships early and don’t become a victim of senioritis. Honestly… solid advice all around. 😅

One of Ava’s favorite memories from senior year was making it to state for solo & ensemble with both her trio and group ensemble — such an exciting achievement and a reflection of all the hard work and dedication she’s put into music.

This fall, Ava will be attending UW–Whitewater to study Early Childhood Education as she begins her next chapter.

Ava, congratulations on everything you’ve accomplished and all the moments that brought you to this season. I’m so excited for everything ahead for you and the impact you’ll make along the way. ✨

This is your permission slip to do something DIFFERENT for your senior photoshoot! Senior photos don’t have to feel serious to be beautiful.

Some sessions look like golden light and windswept fields.
Others look like eating donuts, with REAL smiles, and frosting-covered fingers.

Let's all stop worrying about how to look perfect and just have fun for a second!

Happy National Donut Day 🍩

Today we celebrate Cora, who graduated this past weekend from Plymouth High School 🎓

One piece of advice Cora would give next year’s seniors: "start applying to scholarships early!" Honestly… probably advice everyone needs to hear. 😅

One of Cora’s favorite memories from senior year was traveling to Costa Rica with her Spanish class. Traveling at this age is such an incredible experience and the kind of memories that make this season of life so special.

This fall, Cora will be attending UW–Platteville to study mechanical engineering as she begins an exciting new chapter.

Cora, congratulations on all of your hard work and everything you’ve accomplished to get to this moment. I’m so excited to see where life takes you next and all the amazing things ahead for you.

I was awake at 3 a.m. the other night, and for some reason my mind drifted to Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach we visited in Iceland last September.

Recently, storms have eroded much of the beach and the cave, leaving the entire landscape dramatically different than it was just 6 months ago when we were there.

I can still picture that morning so clearly. Kai digging in the black sand with his little blue shovel. The roar of the waves. The sunlight reflecting so brightly off the water it almost didn’t look real. People from all over the world standing there together, all taking in the same powerful landscape.

And lying there in the dark at 3 a.m., I started thinking about how many things I’ve been lucky enough to witness in a certain moment in time.

Seeing Notre Dame before the fire.

Snorkeling coral reefs in Curaçao years ago and seeing colors so vibrant they honestly didn’t even feel real.

Watching glaciers in Iceland breaking apart before our eyes, knowing this land is changing way faster than it should.

The man we met in Puerto Rico told us how the coastline from his childhood — once miles of sand dunes — is now lined with hotels.

Life is so temporary.

Places change. Landscapes erode. Historic buildings burn. Coral reefs fade. Children grow up.

And somehow knowing that makes these moments feel even more meaningful to me. Even just watching Kai experience these places with the kind of wonder only little kids seem to fully possess, is awe inspiring.

I think that’s part of why travel has always mattered so much in my life. It pulls me out of autopilot. It reminds me how big the world is, how connected we all are inside it, and how important it is to really notice where we are while we’re there.

Maybe that’s also why photographs matter so much to me too.

Because they allow us to hold onto a version of the world — or the people we love — that won’t exist in quite the same way forever.

Today we celebrate Hope, who just graduated from Plymouth High School! 🎓

One of Hope’s biggest accomplishments senior year was receiving the DAR Good Citizens Award for Plymouth High School, an honor that reflects qualities like leadership, dependability, service, and character. Such an incredible achievement and so deserving for a young woman who has shown us her perseverance!

One piece of advice Hope would give next year’s seniors: don’t be afraid to reach out for help. I love that reminder because senior year can feel exciting, overwhelming, emotional, and full of pressure all at once — and sometimes the strongest thing you can do is lean on the people who care about you.

This fall, Hope plans to attend UW–La Crosse to major in psychology as she begins her next chapter.

Hope, congratulations on everything you’ve accomplished and the person you’ve become along the way. I’m so excited for all that’s ahead for you. ✨

Help me congratulate Hope below!
