Where others see worn or outdated,

she sees something worth another look.

Lisa has always had a way of looking at things differently.

She is drawn to antiques for what they hold.

The history.
The character.
The story that existed long before she found them.

In many ways, that perspective has shaped her life.

Lisa Gambrell is a mother of seven,
an HR leader, a lover of antiques,
a creative, and a woman whose life
has taken more than one unexpected turn.

As a young woman, Lisa dreamed of becoming a physician.

Financial barriers, limited support,
and voices around her
made that dream feel out of reach.

Her path changed. But her potential didn’t.

Years later, she earned two master’s degrees
and built a successful career in Human Resources.

Sometimes, the greatest limitation on a dream isn’t ability.
It’s the environment surrounding the person who is dreaming.

She has rebuilt careers.
Rebuilt homes.
And more than once,
reconsidered what she believed was possible for herself.

One thing I learned from living in Minnesota?

Summer is sacred.

Everyone is in holiday mode.
There are summer work hours.
It’s almost mandatory not to have meetings on Fridays.

Life adapts to a slower pace.
It moves outdoors.
It makes a little more time to breathe.

And the best part?
I truly embrace it.

Work will always be there.
But there is something about summer
that reminds you to live life in the present.

For Dannielle Petschl,
it has always been about connection.

She is the kind of person who listens

As the only girl on her high school boys’ wrestling team,
she learned to lead with grace and grit.

As a mother, she learned resilience
