There’s something about watching construction time-lapse videos, especially watching concrete being poured at high speed. When it’s being pumped in with a pump truck like this, it almost starts looking like a giant 3D printer.

One of my goals with this page is to showcase local construction projects, highlight the companies building our communities, and help people make informed decisions when looking for trustworthy contractors and builders in Southeast Idaho.

Today I had the opportunity to capture progress on another custom home being built by TD Building Concepts. This home on West Siphon Road is still under construction but will eventually be featured in the 2026 Parade of Homes.

One of the things I enjoy most about covering construction projects is showing what goes into these builds long before the finished product. It takes a lot of skilled people, planning, and hard work to create homes like this.

Here’s a little action from last night’s PRCA Rodeo… and today’s gonna be even better.

The PRCA Rodeo kicks off at 2:00 PM today at the Bannock County Events Complex in Pocatello, and after seeing the action last night, you do not want to miss this.

Bull riding, barrel racing, broncs, roping, and one awesome crowd atmosphere right here in Southeast Idaho. I’ll be back out there capturing more aerial footage today, and I can already tell it’s going to be another great rodeo.

The Bannock County PRCA Rodeo brought the energy last night… and tonight’s gonna be even bigger.
What an awesome kickoff to the Bannock County PRCA Rodeo at the Bannock County Events Complex in Pocatello! The energy was incredible, the crowd was fired up, and the rodeo action did not disappoint. I was busy operating the drone most of the night capturing aerial footage, so I wasn’t able to photograph every event, but I did manage to grab a few shots from an amazing evening.

From the bull riding to the barrel racing and everything in between, this rodeo brought some serious excitement to Southeast Idaho. Big Bucks ProRodeo continues today, and if you haven’t gone yet, there’s still time to catch all the action live!

Can’t wait to see what today’s rodeo brings. 🤠🔥

🚧👷‍♂️ Downtown Pocatello ADA Ramp Upgrades 👷‍♂️🚧
If you’ve driven through Historic Downtown Pocatello lately, you’ve probably noticed the construction along Main Street. Crews are updating ADA ramps to help make downtown safer and more accessible for everyone in our community.

These new bulb-style ADA ramps require a lot of precision. Inspectors carefully check the slope with digital levels because even small variations can affect accessibility for people using wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and other mobility aids. It’s detailed concrete work that has to be done exactly right.

Projects like this may temporarily slow traffic down, but they are an important investment in improving safety and accessibility throughout downtown Pocatello.

🚧 Alameda & Warren Intersection – Chipotle Job Site Update 🚧
I flew the Alameda and Warren Chipotle job site again today, and it looks like the outside of the building is getting very close to being finished. The Chipotle signs are now up, the landscaping appears complete, and the whole project is really starting to look finished.

One of the final jobs happening in the parking lot right now is cutting out and raising the manhole lids and water valves in the asphalt. They pave over the lids first, then come back and bring everything up to final grade and pour a concrete collar around it.
