From exceptional Preaching, to excellent food .. Family Camp 2016 covered it all. Two motivating sermons by Pastor Roger Yadon on Fri night and Sat night, and a blessed sermon on Sun morning by Pastor Wayne Nye, left all who attended both spiritually challenged and nourished. Excellent classes early on Saturday were followed by a multitude of games. Landy and Stephany Maughon and family (the Maughon Six) worked with the children and young adults through the week, and the entire group entertained us several times. Attendance was great this year, and all who came were enriched by the serene enviornment of Camp Taylor, and the moving of the Holy Spirit of God, both in the preaching of the Word, and the wonderful spirit of worship and praise in the music that was sung and played unto the Lord. To God Be The Glory .. Amen !!

Today we celebrated the baptizm of three young men into the Body of Christ, through baptizm in the Name of Jesus for the remission of sins. Each has now dedicated and commited his life to the Lord Jesus. We have watched these young men grow, and the spirit working in their lives had been evident. We as a Church are excited to see what the Lord wiil do in their lives. Help us welcome, and help us pray that they turn into mighty men of valor, as the unction of the Holy Ghost moves in each of their lives ... Amen !!

This Sunday's Singspiration was nothing less than anointed. So many of us had a song of worship and were met with such a wonderful spirit of worship, prayer, and praise unto the Lord. God is blessing the efforts of Christ Church in so many ways. New visitors come in weekly as God sees fit to add to the congregation. Many have repented and been baptized in Jesus Name. We maintain multiple Ministries on a weekly and monthly basis as we see to the needs of this community's elderly and imprisoned and spiritually afflicted. I can't think of another Church I'd rather be than right where God Himself has led us. It was a interesting road we took to get to where we are, and not all of it was sunny and cheery. But it was worth the journey to get to where we are. We are still calling on the Name of Jesus to finish the work He started in us, and while doing this refining, we have surrendered ourselves to do His will in our lives. I wouldn't take nothing for my journey now...because I know where my final destination lies. I have my sights set on Heaven and I will settle for nothing less. God Bless you all, and multiply your efforts .. Amen !!
