Meet the Photographer: Hey everyone! I saw a photographer that I follow do a "Behind the Camera" segment and thought it would be fun. So, here we go! 📸
Name: Jack Sherlock 🕵🏻‍♂️
Occupation: I am a student at Idaho State University. I am a Biology major pursuing an emphasis in Biomedical Science (PreMed), and I am double-minoring in Political Science and English. 🖊
Hobbies: I like to read all things dark and horrific, so naturally Stephen King is my weird obsession. I also sort of like amateur photography, but on the down low. 😉
Interesting facts:
- I have a beautiful black lab named Cleo 🖤
- I love volunteering, and I love to drag my sister/best friend along with me. 🤞🏼
- I am serving as a State Officer for Idaho HOSA - Future Health Professionals. 🧬💉

I know that I have been absent on my page for quite some time. I apologize for not being as active, but University is like my full time job, as it should be! Visited one of my favorite places for photo ops and for relaxation today. The waterfall diving into the barren and rocky opening down below, the mist that sprays gently in the air surrounding the basin, the water dropping gently from the mossy canyon-side, and the feeling of living and breathing nature, so green and vibrant surrounding every which way you look.

When tragedy strikes, such as a disastrous fire, we have brave men and women who are the first responders to ensure we are safe and secure. Let’s take a moment to thank those past and present responders who face danger head on. With that being said, keep in mind that with something devastating, there is always beauty that shines through. Much like a rainbow after a rainstorm, or like the beautiful glowing sunset due to the smoke and haze lingering from the roaring fires. For those who know me well, you know how much I LOVE the ocean. Now, although I did not go on a dive for these pics (more like, a swim through the Texan humidity), I did find these beautiful creatures, and I had the opportunity to take some photos of the beauty that is found within the waters of our planet. A quote to summarize my love for the ocean, put simply by Robert Wyland, “The Ocean stirs the heart, inspires the imagination, and brings eternal joy to the soul.” 🌊💙🐠🦀🌊

On June 15, 2018, two families united and become one as the marriage of Demi Jenson and Matthew Dugan took place.

The following photos are candid moments, as well as a few staged moments, that I was able to capture and experience while attending the wedding and sharing this special night with the newly wed couple.

I caught pictures of not only the beautiful married couple, but other couples who were in attendance as well. There was so much love and passion throughout the reception, and I am grateful to have captured some of those moments that will be cherished forever in the hearts of mi familia! 💕📷💍
