Bridal portraits are the perfect excuse to have a little fun and get creative!

I love moving around and seeing how a different backdrop or a little shift in lighting can change the entire feel of an image. It's one of the best parts of having time dedicated just to the bride and her dress.

I love getting to capture moments like this on a wedding day. The way they're completely wrapped up in each other, laughing, kissing, and just enjoying being together. Add in a little sunshine and the prettiest lace umbrella, and I’m not sure it gets much better than this.

Let’s talk about wedding planning for a second…

There is no shortage of opinions when you start planning a wedding, and it can get overwhelming fast. The couples who enjoy their day the most are the ones who stay grounded in what actually matters to them.

Don’t get caught up in a perfectly curated timeline or the pressure to follow every trend. Focus on the people, the moments, and how you want the day to feel.

As a wedding photographer, I see it over and over again, the best galleries come from couples who give themselves permission to slow down and be present instead of chasing perfect.

So if you are in the middle of planning, take what serves you and leave the rest.
