I'm getting bad reviews on my skill as a photographer based on my criticism of a local business being racist toward the community around them - and it's by emotionally fueled people that haven't even seen my work, but I'm loving all the new engagement!
I haven't had time to operate this business since becoming a father and putting my focus on the chimney business, but if I did start to do photography again, I'm totally okay with not doing business with racists, that is not a loss to me 🥱
Should I sell pictures again, I know that they would sell based on their artistic value, not the reputation of a gang of overly emotional republicans. These ignorant reviews are just an example of a cult sticking up for one another when they're called out for hate, and will soon become irrelevant and out of context.
Racism is not welcome here, and I have no regrets saying so - but your engagement is always welcome. Negative engagement from negative people tells me I'm doing something right!
