After much thought, many conversations, and a whole lot of emotions, Taylor and I have made the decision to close the doors to our shop.
This isn’t an easy announcement to make. Our little space has been a special part of our lives and our businesses, and we are incredibly grateful for every client, family, milestone, and memory that has walked through those doors.
But as life changes, sometimes our businesses need to change with it.
Closing the shop does NOT mean we are closing our businesses entirely, We are simply changing the way we operate and making room for some exciting new opportunities that are enhancing our family life.
For me, photography will continue! I’ll be working part-time, focusing primarily on newborn sessions in home, as well as outdoor sessions, and I’ll be offering special occasion sessions in rented spaces when needed. I’m looking forward to continuing to capture those precious moments for your families, just in a slightly different way.
And while our shared shop is coming to an end, our friendship of more than 35 years certainly isn’t. We’ve always supported each other’s dreams, and I’m excited to see where this next chapter takes both of us.
To all of our amazing clients — thank you. Thank you for trusting us, supporting our small businesses, sharing your families and special moments with us, and making our shop such a wonderful place to be.
There’s definitely some sadness in closing this door, but there is also so much excitement for what’s ahead.
The doors may be closing, but the businesses, the creativity, and the dreams are not.
Here’s to new adventures, new opportunities, and a new way of doing what we love.
Stay tuned for more information on upcoming sessions and how you can continue working with us!
Ps, I’ll be selling years of collected props and some equipment, let me know if you might be interested, and I’ll give you an early access to it all!
We will be moved out prior to October 1st.
