Meet Jo + Cari 🤍
Both born and raised in Shannon, Mississippi, Jo and Cari grew up just minutes away from each other. Although they had always been connected through social media, it wasn’t until one day when Jo saw Cari out in Shannon that he finally decided to reach out and ask her to hang out and from that moment on, everything just seemed to fall perfectly into place.
Knowing how important it was to Cari to have photos from the actual proposal, Jo planned the sweetest surprise. What she thought was simply a couples session with friends quickly turned into one of the most unforgettable moments of her life when he got down on one knee in the middle of photos and proposed. 🥹
These two will be saying “I do” at The Parsonage in Tupelo, MS surrounded by the people who have watched their story come full circle. Their connection feels like fate — their moms knew each other growing up, they attended the same school, and despite living only three minutes apart their entire lives, they didn’t truly find each other until the timing was finally right.
When asked what photography means to them, Cari shared that photos are everything because they capture moments you can hold onto forever, allowing you to relive the memories long after the day has passed. 🩷
