Effective immediately:
No calls/no shows for sessions will not be allowed to schedule another session with me for a year.
(Exceptions being emergency reasons of course).
I need you guys to know that I LOVE what I do. I want to be as graceful and understanding as possible.
But when I have to book people further out than they would like due to being booked up… and then you no call no show, it is frustrating. Heartbreaking even. I pour so much time and money and heart into this and I am SUCH an understanding person.
Text me a couple days before and say you aren’t mentally, physically, or financially feeling pics and we will manage just fine! Shoot, text me the day of and say you can’t get out of bed and you want to reschedule.
I GET it. Life happens! I get it so much.
But PLEASE do not plan a full session out in detail and no call no show. Please.
I told myself throughout this business I would hold my business to a certain standard but also extend the same grace I would want in my hardest moments. So if that means having a bad day the day of a photoshoot and just needing to pause.
Absolutely. Pause. Please.
I’m with you. Don’t force a smile on yourself if you aren’t feeling it. We can reschedule. We can cancel and try again later. But please do not no call no show. Not just to me. But to any small business that requires appointments (or spends money for your orders or products and then you ghost them without paying for said thing). Same concept.
Just don’t do it.
This has only happened a couple times throughout my photography years but the rule needs set in the hopes that this won’t happen again.
