“It made a difference to that one.” ~ The Starfish Story

This past Sunday morning with a rescue mission: Returning beached conchs back to the Gulf.

The action required multiple trips into the cool salty waves, sometimes more than knee deep.

Not complaining! It was actually quite fun & rewarding.

I also advised fellow morning beach walkers and shell hunters that these were still alive, and if they saw one to please plop it back into the water. (I saw one mother/son put one back in! 🥰)

Mission Accomplished!

Rise & Shine!! A quick little run to the beach this morning to get my toes in the sand and wade in the waves to start this final day of September.

Speaking of, today (Sept 30th) is the final day for the Early Bird Specials for the Amy Oakley Photography 2022 Beach Calendars!

Beach calendars are available in both desk-sized and wall-sized. You can pay by Paypal, credit/debit, and "snail mail" check. (Venmo also available.) To be shipped mid-November, just in time for the holidays!

Looks like it’s going to be a fabulous fall weekend here at the beach in Port A. 🌊💙🐚

There were hardly any shells on the beach yesterday afternoon, but I did find this intriguing sandy feather just enjoying the sunshine without a care in the world. 🤍
