Now that the commencements are done and the diplomas are in hand, can I just take a minute to express how happy I am to have seen you and celebrated this moment with each one of you! I loved seeing you. Instead of sweatshirts and uggs, it was caps and gowns. Instead of heading to school one more day, you’re off to the world. Best wishes and I hope you’ve all enjoyed graduation week. Here’s to the class of 2026!

All things graduation this week as Marysville celebrated commencement yesterday and PHHS and PHN are celebrating this week. I am in love with the vibe at Cap & Gown sessions. Its fun and everyone is excited.

So much of photographing someone is just BEING with that person. Being present and open and kind - and seeing those same things in the person in front of me. It was not hard. In fact, my session with Akshara was one of the many sessions I left knowing I have a dream job. Celebrating Akshara's graduation from UofM with some photos and memory making was so fun. Thank you for inviting me to make more photos with your family. I hope to see you in the future, as more life happens and more happiness is had.

Congratulations, Akshara on your graduation from University of Michigan and good luck, mom and dad, for having Aniksha, just starting there in the fall. You both raise amazing young women.
