After all the planning & then driving two hours … I really didn’t want the dark clouds to roll in… but like so many things in life, unpredictable is to be expected… and after piecing together her story that evening … with every stop along our way … her high school, the softball fields… the summer camp she spent her youth growing her faith and serving and finally this patch of flowers found outside a local hospital (she plans to be a nurse) … I felt like the full spectrum of weather was symbolic of life and seasons we cycle through. The truth is when your rooted in your faith, you can weather any storm, not that it won’t always be easy but you’ll never be alone. Thank you C fam for allowing me the honor to tell your Senior year story ! God speed 🌻🙏🏻🤍

Almost thought we would get to deliver among the flowers for another career 1st ** can you imagine the photos ??!! Truly, Madly, Deeply…. the North Carolina air & water on this particular night felt like we were moving through space and time in a dream state…the full moon rising, the waves crashing… the joy and laughter that echoed across the tips of the waves … goodness I wish you were all there, it was just toooo good to be true 🌊 xo- Erin

There are a few things I will never tire of in this career... one of them is a farmer on their land, surrounded by a harvest and the family that keeps them going every single day. This session was so special...I think I gave them over 200 images to cherish.

The moments poured out so authentically it was hard to say goodnight when the sun had set.

Thank you for trusting me with your story and inviting me to your slice of the "Onion Capital of the World"... and the delicious onions to bring home to my family.

Dear Monica, Many moons ago we met for the first time on the coast of California…I remember scouting out the perfect spot before our session (butterflies to meet the family that booked me from across the country) and you called me frantically that you were removing the professional makeup that was just done because it wasn’t you. I should have known in that moment I was going to love you…. You’re unapologetically authentic and you won’t have it any other way…. Our session unfolded into pure JOY that poured out from your spirit and right into my camera (& my heart). I was merely a witness to YOU, your passion for your babies and husband. Hands up, Hands stretched out, hands holding them. But now we collectively reach back to YOU in your time of need. Since this shoot you had 2 more babes, became a doula and continued to inspire me as a mother from a far. Leukemia & Bone Marrow Failure has entered the chat but it doesn’t know the force field it arrived to. So as you fight for this one wild and precious life, we come behind you and your precious family to help support you financially as you begin this fight. Our God is mighty … may he use this love note & images to cover your family in prayer and financial blessings, no matter the size of the donation… (Link in comments) it matters. 10 years Later.

Throughout this gallery you will see some mashups of Father Time's greatest achievement, his constant and relentless push forward... a time lapse of 10 years in a family that is so very special. Side by side with present day shots.

10 years ago they invited me to their family farm, in the black dirt region of the Hudson Valley, where open spaces and green green grass grows wild on the sod farm. When mom reached out recently and said, the kids are so much older now, I dont know how this will all unfold... (I said hold my b**r (or something like that)

New Passions (sports... basketball) have taken hold of the family so we highlighted that in a pretty epic way... &&&& We ended the session just in time for the NY KNICKS finals game... the sky even showed up in Blue and Orange for a silhouette shot.

Once in a while I question my career.... like any creative does. But this ... this right here... is my why a hundred times over.

THANK YOU DEBUCK family for having me into your life over the years... this 10 year full circle is now my FAVE ❤
