My 1st time seeing a herd of wild Elk turned into some comical captures! This is part of why I ADORE animals so much... they have personalities too. I'm psyched for every new creature I get to experience in the wild!

It was Orca chasing Saturday this past weekend, and what an awesome day it turned out to be! A new transient group entered our Sound (T68As), and we followed them most of the day. Ran into several other whale lover/photographer friends and had a blast viewing these beauties pretty close to shore!!

Catch a little glimpse of Mr. & Mrs. Smith's mystical Masquerade Themed Castle wedding! (During an off shore bomb cyclone event no less!) Safe to say this day was beautifully epic in surroundings, loving moments, and humor that will linger on with the best kind of nostalgia! Thankful for such a memorable & challenging experience. ~Cheers~

I love seeing the pods playing and hunting together! For this trip I got to experience the T037As "Bigg's" Transient orca family off of the San Juan Islands! It's comprised of the mother, her 3 sons and 1 daughter. This is the beginning of edits.. more shots to come!

Last Monday December 7th, I stood on the shores near Southworth ferry dock, WA. This beautiful group of T75s Orcas swam quite close to us. They didn't have the large male with them this trip, but I was able to see him 3 days previous to this in another location! The lighting was low but magical, and the experience was one I'll never forget!!

-Shot with a Canon 200mm telephoto lens with 2X extender, (to 400mm and built in 1.4 crop) Some shots were zoomed and cropped.

I was able to do this mini mother/son sunset shoot with our friends and old neighbors Amy & Phillip, before we moved off of Whidbey Island. I miss having you guys right behind our backyard! Here’s a few great moments. 💜🤗💙
