THS Open House: The THS Open House has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 19, from 6-8pm.

During Open House, you will learn about each teacher’s class syllabus, course standards, grading policies, and expectations. Parents/guardian should first report to the Auditorium by 6pm to meet Administration. Then at 6:30pm, you will be released to follow your student’s schedule and meet their teachers.

6:30 - 6:45: 1st block
6:50 - 7:05: 2nd block
7:10 - 7:25: 3rd block
7:30-7:45: 4th block

Maps will be provided, but be sure to have a copy of your student’s schedule OR be able to access it on Focus through your phone. Guidance counselors will be available in their offices during Open House to answer any questions you may have.

We're excited to share that this upcoming fall, renovation will begin on THS' track! This is extremely exciting news for THS as the track renovation will provide us with our first competitive, rubberized, metric track. We're deeply thankful to BPS for approving this project and graciously funding close to $1,000,000 for the rubber resurfacing and re-curbing.

Once completed, the upgraded track will be on par with other schools and enable us to host track meets. Our track and field athletes will benefit from their “home turf advantage” and the future revenue from home meets will benefit THS athletic programs and help pay for future track and field gear, equipment, and travel costs. In addition, nearly every student who attends THS will use the track at some point during P.E. classes, ROTC, or while participating in extracurricular sports.

However, in order to fully complete the necessary upgrades, THS bears some of the financial burden, and we must raise $129,044 (see flyer for the breakdown of these costs). Some good news, and aside from the $129K, THS has already come up with $53K to purchase much needed, brand-new equipment (hurdles, starting blocks, pole vault, and high jump pads and standards) for competitive track and field!

Now we’re reaching out to Terrier Nation to come together as a family to help us reach our fundraising goal of $129,044 by November 1. We hope you believe as strongly as we do that having the right training surfaces, equipment, and resources is just as crucial as the focus, commitment, effort, and ex*****on of our students and athletes.
