"A Journey Without Footprints"
Alone upon the water, calm and wide,
One paddle charts a passage through the tide.
No footprints mark the distance left behind,
Just quiet waves and clarity of mind.
Each shifting current asks a soul to sway,
To find its balance without losing way.
For strength is not refusing winds that change,
But finding peace when waters rearrange.
The paddle falls - the water answers slow,
A sacred rhythm only still hearts know.
One breath, one stroke, one moment at a time,
Where body, soul, and nature intertwine.
No need to race the shoreline yet unseen,
For God is present somewhere in between.
Not only at the ending we pursue,
But in each quiet mile He carries through.
And when the peaceful waters turn unsure,
Faith teaches us to bend - and still endure.
We cannot choose each current we must face,
But we can meet its turning tide with grace.
Sometimes the soul must wander out alone,
Beyond the comfort of the safely known.
Not lost, but learning underneath the blue
That solitude can bring us closer too.
So paddle on when winds begin to rise,
Keep steady hands and faith upon the skies.
Release the weight of shores you've left behind,
And let the present bring you peace of mind.
For life, like water, changes as it flows,
And where it leads us, only Heaven knows.
Yet when God is the center that you choose,
The tide may change - but you need never lose.
**Allusion:**
*Like the paddleboarder who crosses the water without leaving a footprint, some of life's greatest journeys leave no visible trail behind. Their evidence is found within us- in the balance we gained, the storms we adapted to, the burdens we released, and the faith that taught us to keep moving when there was no solid ground beneath our feet.*
