A little more Virginia magic before I wrap up this week.

I’m finishing out the week with two adorable newborn sessions, then heading to Maine this weekend to see my girls for another photography reunion with Danielle - DC & VA Newborn Photographer. These trips always leave me feeling so inspired, and looking back at this beautiful Virginia maternity session has me even more excited to create together again.

This styled shoot felt like stepping into a storybook. A beautiful family, the dreamiest property, hydrangeas everywhere, and so many sweet, playful moments in between. I left feeling so inspired and grateful for the chance to create just for the sake of creating.

This family has been in front of my camera for so many special milestones, and that makes sessions like this mean even more to me. 🤍

I’ve had the privilege of photographing every single one of their babies as newborns and watching them grow all the way through their first birthdays. Getting to see them now, all together at the beach, is such a full circle moment.

So incredibly grateful for families who keep coming back and allow me to be a small part of their story.

A little apology for being quieter on here lately… but I promise, it’s for a very good reason.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been very busy cuddling the sweetest new babies, photographing growing families, and creating some really beautiful memories for my clients.

And with busy season officially picking up, I’m down to limited availability for the remainder of the year.

If you’re currently in your second trimester, now is the time to reserve your due date. You don’t need to know exactly when baby will arrive — we’ll simply reserve your due date on my calendar and finalize your session once they’re here.

If you’re expecting this winter or early 2027, I’d love to have you in the studio (I also offer lifestyle home sessions)

It means a little extra when friends trust me with seasons like this. 🤍

There’s something incredibly special about watching the people I know step into new chapters of their lives, and then being trusted to preserve a piece of it for them.

I’ll never take for granted when a friend chooses to invest in me and in photographs of the moments that feel so ordinary right now, but will mean everything someday. The tiny details, the way they fit in your arms, the beginning of a brand new sibling bond… it all changes way too fast.

So grateful I get to create something they’ll have long after this season has passed.

The kind of newborn photos that will never go out of style.

No elaborate props. No distracting setups. Just your baby — their tiny features, sleepy stretches, little rolls, and all of the details you swear you’ll remember forever.

Because newborn photos aren’t really for right now.

They’re for the version of you years from now who would give anything to hold them this tiny again.

My newborn sessions are intentionally simple, baby-led, and focused on creating timeless images that will still feel beautiful hanging in your home decades from now.

If you’re expecting, don’t wait until baby arrives to start thinking about newborn photos. I only take a limited number of newborn sessions each month, and your due date can be reserved while you’re still pregnant.
