What should you wear for dating photos?

Probably not a whole new wardrobe.

It is usually more about choosing pieces that feel like you, fit well, photograph cleanly, and give us enough variety to create different kinds of images.

Casual can work.
A jacket can work.
Layers help.

With a clear setup, simple scheduling, and good direction, a team can move through efficiently and still get images that feel polished and consistent.

That matters for offices, clinics, agencies, and professional teams that need updated photos for websites, LinkedIn, staff pages, and directories.

The goal is simple: make the process easy and give people photos they can actually use.

Space to try a few things and see what feels natural.

Senior portraits can be polished without feeling stiff.

They can feel personal without feeling overdone.

That is the balance I’m looking for during a session.

Not the stiffest.
Not the most perfect.
Not the most posed.

The ones with real expression, movement, personality, and a little room to breathe.

That is what I’m looking for during a session.

A portrait that feels like this moment in their life, not a version of them that was forced for the camera.

Your dating photos do not need to look overly polished.

They need to feel current, clear, and like you.

A good dating portrait session is not about pretending to be someone else. It is about creating images that feel natural enough to actually use, with enough guidance that you are not left figuring it out on your own.

Good light helps.
A thoughtful location helps.
Direction helps.

So does not overthinking it.

Senior portrait season is closer than it feels.

July is a good time to start planning before summer schedules fill and fall deadlines get too close.

The best senior portraits are not about forcing a pose.

They come from good light, thoughtful locations, and enough space for personality to show up.

If you have a 2027 senior, now is a good time to get on the calendar for summer or early fall.

A real expression.
A location that fits.

Clothing that feels natural.
A little movement.
A little confidence.
A little space to be themselves.
