Let the kids be kids.

Too much pressure and attention will make kiddos nervous or overwhelmed. Going into a photo session expecting them to behave and sit perfectly still is unrealistic. Going into it with the expectation of capturing moments that are imperfect and illustrating the real story of your family...that's more like it!

Right after this photo, these two were standing next to one another and smiling. The prompt of 'hug your brother' was not intended to result in this but instead turned into a funny memory for these brothers to look back on.

This is your reminder that sometimes life throws curveballs. ⚾
It's okay if your kiddo shows up to photos with grass stains, or in this case, a conveniently placed band aid. 🤕

What you may see as imperfections are just an illustration of raw, unfiltered, real life. This isn't something to be 'edited out', these photos tell a story, and are often the photos that spark the best memories.
