How can we move forward POSITIVELY? How can we be an ALLY?
"We can be positive and an ally by leading by example. Be the change you want to see in the world. It is too easy to fall in with popular opinion instead of doing what is right.
Start at home with your children. Teach them to be color blind and inclusive to all people, regardless of if you agree with their views on religion or politics. Ask questions and learn about their culture. Be kind at all times, to everyone.Most of all help your community by sharing your time and resources wherever possible. Pick one charity and support it... or two...donate your time in a homeless shelter or soup kitchen and most of all check on your neighbors. Send cards, write letters and make phone calls to let people know they matter.
It’s going to take small steps to make BIG changes! "
