Angele and I are semi-nomadic vagabonds, full-time RVers and 5/6-time volunteers at national parks and monuments, national wildlife refuges and historic cultural sites around America. Moments before the sun slipped below the horizon, it cleared a small band of clouds (see sunset panorama) and brightened considerably, filling the coast forest with rich amber light. I just barely had time to get my aerial images, fly back and land, then get my hand camera to make a few images of this gorgeous light from within the forest itself.
