To see the world outside of your own circle is enlightening, invigorating and inspiring.

As an artist, experiencing Italy and its culture was emotional. People in the street celebrate with each other, and they experienced life around them. I walked through history, relearned, laughed and cried.

And to think that all this was possible because of my career lead me here. To many more adventure around the world and documenting the moments most precious to people.

Dedicated to Lisa and Gentry and their Rome wedding.

Witnessing the love and joy unfold on a wedding day is a perk to me. And being charged with documenting it is not something I take lightly.

There’s a certain kind of trust that comes with being invited into a day this meaningful. I saw joy in them, in their guests and even entire streets around Rome celebrated with them.

What an incredible privilege it was to be there, camera in hand, documenting a piece of their story that will live far beyond that day.

Rehearsed and dressed to the T!

Thinking back on L&M rehearsal dinner in Bend, Oregon as I plan my trip back in a month. This time we’re headed to Juniper Preserve and I couldn’t be more excited.

But can I just say, say yes to the dress. Get the fit and show off on your wedding weekend!

12 years laters, and they’re finally husband and wife.

K&H story is as unique it can get. They met in preschool, started dating when they were 13, life happened and they found their way back to each other years later. I’m giving you a synopsis, just as I now give you a little look into their wedding at Waverley Country Club.

Swoon.

Yaz and Nate’s engagement session felt like stepping into the Italian countryside without ever leaving Oregon. The flowers were blooming, the summer air was warm, and everything about the evening felt soft, romantic, and easy to be in.

Sometimes all you need is good light, movement, and the right person beside you. Cannot wait for their wedding day! It’s sure to be a spectacular one!

Carefully curated design always makes a difference from a photographer’s point of view.

Pattern blocking, layered greenery, and intentional accents of color brought so much depth into this space without ever feeling overwhelming. Don’t be afraid to add texture, movement, and color. In the end, you’ll have created a reception that felt cohesive, elevated, and completely immersive for guests.

A reminder that thoughtful design choices don’t have to be loud to leave a lasting impression.
