Some wedding days are beautiful because of the weather… and some are beautiful because of the people. Kara + Cody’s day was the second kind and honestly, that’s the kind that matters most. It was a cold + windy day with big love… making it one absolutely unforgettable wedding day.
I’ve photographed so many milestones for Kara and her family over the years, and at this point they’re not just clients, y'all they’re family to me… and Kara is my girl. Watching her step into this new chapter hit a little extra close to the heart.
It was cold, the wind had big jokes, and not one bit of it slowed this crew down. From the moment I arrived, there was joy, laughter, prayer, and the kind of love you can feel in your chest.
Kara loves her family, loves the Lord, and loves her man and it shows in everything she does. That girl has the most gorgeous smile and a fun, rocking, real-deal personality that pulls people right in. Cody is steady, kind, and quietly crazy about her... the way he looks at her says everything. And y’all… let me tell you about this man for a minute. On the morning of the wedding, Cody had a rose delivered to Kara every hour on the hour, each with a handwritten note. By the time she walked down the aisle, she had a dozen roses… and the last one was not real. His note said he would love her until it died. 😍 Cue the tears.
They were married by her Papa Ken, who has married his children and his grandchildren annnnnnd if you know Ken + Annette, you know they are one of the sweetest, most inspiring couples you’ll ever meet. That legacy of faith and marriage was woven right into the ceremony.
One of the most powerful moments of the night was Kara’s dance honoring the men in her family who helped love and raise her after her dad passed, including her wonderful stepdad Shane. She followed it with a beautiful mother-daughter dance that was just as emotional and just as special.
Full dance floor. Big family. Big faith. Bigger love.
Kara + Cody: your day was beautiful in every way that counts. I love your love and I’m beyond thankful I got to capture it. xoxo

2025 tried me.
Blessed me.
Wore my ass OUT.

This year was long days, late nights, sore feet, full memory cards, and a whole lotta heart.
I photographed milestones, grit, growth, love, laughter, chaos, and stories that deserve to be remembered forever.

I watched seniors grind harder than most adults I know (especially my own senior)!!!!
I celebrated love that waited, love that surprised, and love that showed up exactly when it was supposed to.
I met families who trusted me with their most important moments… annnnnd that s**t will never be lost on me.

I cried behind my camera.
I laughed with clients who turned into friends.
I cussed my computer, my schedule, and probably myself more than once 😂
But I was here for it! Every damn bit of it!!!!

If you booked me, shared my work, tagged me, hyped me up, or trusted me this year… thank you.
You’re the reason I get to do what I love.

2025… you were messy, magical, exhausting, and absolutely worth it.
Now let’s see what kind of trouble 2026 wants to start. 😏📸😍😘

This kid right here… wow. He’s not just graduating early — he’s out here working two jobs and putting in the kind of effort most adults don’t even manage. Seven days a week, chasing his goals, and still managing to be one of the kindest, most respectful young men you’ll ever meet.
He recently just saved up enough of his heard earned money to get him this new truck... so we took the opportunity to use it in some pictures!!!
I’m so dang proud to have captured this season for him. Hard work looks good on you, Zachary!!!!!

This guy absolutely NAILED his senior session! Bryce has that easygoing charm, so kind, a smile that lights up every shot, the best serious face annnnnnnd amazing hair that belongs in a shampoo commercial 😄. He brought his GF Abby along so we added her in a few photos too. Aren't they cuuuuute?

It’s easy to see how loved he is by his family.
Between his talent on the trumpet and his bright spirit it’s clear he’s got a wonderful future ahead.

DeAnna + Brayden | 7.20.25

These two tied the knot on one of the hottest, most humid days of the year... but their love showed up even brighter than the sun, and thank goodness we didn’t see much of thanks to the thick ol’ clouds. Y’all… it was HOT. Like “sweat in places you didn’t know could sweat” hot on their wedding day.

They said “I do” at the beautiful Carr Farms, surrounded by friends, family, and lots of happiness. And nothing could dull the magic of this day.

DeAnna was an absolute dream, Brayden couldn’t stop smiling at his bride, and the whole day was full of laughter, love, and those melt-your-heart kind of moments.

She’s got the kind of eyes that stop you in your tracks, a smile that lights up every room, and that long flowy hair? Yeah, it caught the light like it knew exactly what to do!!!

There are wedding days that are beautiful... and then there are wedding days that feel like pure magic.
Christine and Tony’s was both... From the moment we arrived, I could feel it—this unshakable excitement and love in the air. A little rain here and there tried to sneak in, but it didn’t dare mess with the energy of the day. It was full of laughter, full of love, and FULL of the kind of fun that makes your cheeks hurt from smiling so much. They laughed. They danced. They cried. And yep… so did I.

Their vows? GOOD LORD. I was behind the camera ugly crying while also trying to make sure I didn’t miss a single shot. The way they spoke to each other—so honest, tender, and full of soul... reminded me exactly why I love photographing weddings. You could feel every word in your chest. That’s the kind of love these two have. Deep. Intentional. Kind. The kind that reminds everyone around them what love is supposed to look like.

The food was amazing. The drinks were flowing. The dance floor? FUUUUN. Every single person there showed up to celebrate them, and you could feel how deeply loved Christine + Tony are by their family and friends.

But my favorite part? It was just watching the two of them together. The way Tony looks at Christine like she's the only one in the room. The way Christine lights up in his arms. The way they laugh, support, and just fit together so perfectly. It is super sweet.

I’m so thankful I got to capture it all: the big moments, the quiet ones, and everything in between.
Christine + Tony, your day was a dream, and your love is even better. Here’s to a lifetime of laughter, rain kisses, and dancing like no one’s watching!!!!! Love you two!!!!

Today my heart is full as my son graduates high school. I can hardly believe how fast the time has passed by. I know all parents feel this way, it passes in a blink of an eye.

To the incredible Portland High School Class of 2025, this is your moment. You’ve grown up in a world that has thrown you challenge after challenge and still, you’ve shown up, stayed strong, and pushed forward. You’ve proven that no obstacle is too great when your heart is in it.

To my son… Evan, I’ve watched you become the person you are today with so much pride. From your first steps to this walk across the graduation stage, every moment has been a blessing. You’ve worked hard, stayed true to yourself, and become someone I admire deeply. I’ve watched you grow, stumble, learn, and become the remarkable young man you are. This moment isn’t just about a diploma… it’s about the character you’ve built, the dreams you carry, and the future that’s waiting for you. I am so proud of not just what you’ve accomplished but who you are. I love you the most.

Class of 2025, this isn’t the end… it’s a beautiful beginning!!!! Take what you’ve learned, hold tight to your values, and never stop growing. The world needs your kindness, your voice, and your courage.

To every parent, teacher, and friend who’s supported these graduates along the way… this moment is for you too. THANK YOU FOR LOVING THESE KIDS! You are appreciated!

🎓💛 CONGRATULATIONS, KATY! 💛🎓

I’ve had the joy of capturing Katy’s beautiful smile for years and today, that smile is shining brighter than ever. This beautiful, brilliant, and fiercely determined girl is VALEDICTORIAN!!!!!!

Katy, your drive is nothing short of inspiring. Balancing straight-A academics with the grit + dedication of a cross-country runner annnnd a softball player? That’s not an easy task but you’ve done it with grace, strength, and your signature humor. You’ve always been adorable, funny, and full of life, but watching you grow into the incredible young woman you are today has been a privilege. I couldn’t be prouder to know you and to have been able to freeze little moments of your journey in photos over the years.

Katy, you’ve earned every bit of this moment. Here’s to all the memories, the miles you’ve run (on the track + in life), and to the big, bold future ahead of you.
