For the past few weeks, Maggie and I have been working closely with a large extended family in our town of Cape Elizabeth, about 75 people across multiple households, who have been sheltering in place due to recent ICE activity in Maine. The need is real and immediate.

Right now, the most urgent needs are rent, with February 1 approaching, as well as groceries and medications. Funds donated today go out today, directly to the families who need it most.

Harper turned 13 on 12/22 and I’m losing my mind! I can’t believe how much she’s grown this year, but if you are counting- it was 4 inches this year..and 7 total in the past two years. But more importantly, she continuing to grow into the most spectacular human and I’m lucky to be her mom. ♥️

Hannah of has a way of growing beauty you can actually feel. This shoot was all about capturing her summer story, the colors, the texture, the rhythm of her hands in the garden.
Sometimes the details and the quiet work of someone in their element tell the story better than anything else.

I loved this shoot with Lynn Smith , but we definitely hit a last-minute speed bump.

We had a location picked out that turned out to be wrong in all the ways, and at 5am on the morning of the shoot, right before I boarded my flight to NYC, we made the call to pivot. It was nerve-racking, but we went for it, and the spot we found ended up being lightyears better than anything we could have planned.

I’m a big believer that we create our own magic through hard work and intuition. And I also think Rumi was right when he said, “That which you seek is seeking you.” Having a client like Lynn and a brand design team like who know the power of “flex mode” made all the difference. The shoot leveled up because we trusted each other, stayed open, and followed the energy of the day.

Bottom line: trust your gut. Don’t settle. The right things are out there for you. You just have to be willing to reach for them.
