Wow! I have not been active in a hot minute and Iā€™m really sorry about that. You know how it goes when you have 3 jobs, student teaching, classes, volunteer work, and a partridge in a pear tree..Well itā€™s break again so Iā€™m hoping that I will be taking more pics. I also plan to make that one of my priorities in this coming year because I will (only) have 2 jobs and no student teaching this next semester!! So look out world here we go! Stay tuned :)

Since 9/11, over 8,200 lives of military men and women have been lost in battle. Over 8,200. Today is for the 3,000 people who lost their loved ones on this day. For the first responders. For the doctors. For the families who expected to pick their loved ones up from the airport. Today is for the military men and women who joined because of today. Itā€™s for the spouses and children who sacrifice seeing ā€œmommy and daddyā€ for months on end not knowing if their last hug was their last hug. It sparked my attention today when someone said..ā€but itā€™s been almost 20 years, when will we move on?ā€ Today, donā€™t expect people to just ā€œmove onā€. Donā€™t expect those families who lost their loved ones to just move on since ā€œitā€™s been 18 years.ā€ Donā€™t expect military families and first responder families to just move on. We need to be united. Be people of 9/12. Not 9/10.
