M & S proposed to each other before roadtripping to Oregon, and wanted to commemorate their engagement with a pop of color. 🌷 Celebrating at at sunset was unforgettable!

I need spring weather to stay - the amazing weather earlier this week was such a tease! It was such a relief to not have to whip out umbrellas or have backups to backups lined up for dry spots for Cayman’s senior session.

Today, March 8, 2025, the streets of Portland transformed into a sea of clever signs, determined faces, and unified voices. Walking alongside so many like-minded individuals felt like being part of something bigger than myself. There was palpable energy in the air as people from all walks of life - mothers, daughters, grandmothers, activists, and allies—stood together for a common cause.

One of the most powerful aspects of the Portland Women’s March is its inclusivity. It’s not just a march for women; it’s a march for anyone who feels marginalized or oppressed. It provides a stage for people to come together across various movements and issues—immigrant rights, racial justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, climate change, economic inequality, and more. The diversity of voices and causes within the march reflects the interconnectedness of various social justice issues and reminds everyone that our fight for equality is shared.

Marching in the Portland Women’s March was such a strong reminder of the power of community, the strength in unity, and the urgency of continued activism. Here are some of the photos from before and during the march. If you download, share, or use any of the photos, please credit my business: Image by Daniela Klaz of No Rules Photography.
