My name is Sarah Ahearn, and I've always been interested in photography.

Although I have a long way to go, I have made serious progress with my work since I first started shooting, and I am learning more every day! I'm very lucky to be able to pursue something I love and have fun while doing it, and I have been afforded some amazing opportunities that I am extremely thankful for along the way. Savannah & Griffin’s wedding day was so incredibly beautiful. Photographing for friends always makes me emotional, but I teared up so many times throughout their big day because they truly are two of the most genuine, kind & wonderful people. The love that these two have for each other is evident in everything they do, but so is the love that they extend outwards to their families and friends. When you surround yourself by people who support and uplift you - that good energy spills over into everything you do, and it comes back to you tenfold. They deserve the best, and sure enough - this day was as close to perfect as I think it can get! Congratulations to the Millers & thank you for allowing me to be a part of such an incredible day 💕

A&A had the most BEAUTIFUL day for their intimate elopement in Falmouth. The sun was shining, gentle breeze blowing, and the coolest vintage Mustang in which to ride off together - as husband & wife this time 😎 Thank you for trusting me to help capture these moments ❤️

Admittedly, Instagram saw these first 🙈 But I wanted to share them here as well because honestly, I am obsessed with how this session turned out. We had rain for several days leading up to the shoot, even hours leading up to it! But mother nature pulled through with glowy, warm sunlight at exactly the right moments for us. So excited for S&G's wedding in October!

I was so excited about these photos during the session; I got home to start editing sneak peeks, and ended up finishing the whole gallery because I just couldn’t stop 🥰 Brittany & Hunter were so fun to work with, and we had the most perfect afternoon for our session. It was SUCH a joy working with these two & getting to see how much they love each other 🧡 Thank you for trusting me to capture these!

Looking back on these photos from October 2022; they were taken during a surprise proposal in NH with - wondering how I never got around to sharing these! The foliage was beautiful, the weather was perfect & the view… I’m not sure it gets more romantic than that 😍 I cannot imagine a more beautiful setting than this to say “yes” to forever in 💍

When said she was planning to propose to her girlfriend, I immediately was in to help capture the moment. They planned a quiet little breakfast picnic on the Eastern Promenade, and I was lurking around the benches and trees making sure I was ready for my cue. It was such a sweet moment, and I genuinely was so nervous and excited for them that my hands were shaking the whole time! 😂 So excited to see these two sweet humans continue to build their lives together 💖 Congratulations on your engagement, A&R 💍

Instagram saw it first 🙈From her wedding last July, to now expecting her first child: Hailey has had such an exciting adventure over the past twelve months! She is getting ready to settle into her role as mama so soon, and we both felt that photographing her maternity session at the spot where she was married would be extra special. Hailey is as radiant as ever, and is so excited for baby E’s arrival 👶🏻 Grateful to have been trusted to capture two huge milestones for the (growing!) LHeureux family 🩵

Rainy days like yesterday had me thinking about the vibes from this wedding last June, working as a second for 🩶 I have LOVED getting to know & work with Clay, especially because there doesn’t seem to be anything that really slows him down; even when it starts pouring rain, he knows how to make the best of it 🌧️

Observing the way he gives direction & how he connects with people has taught me so much. The couples he works with put their full trust in him because they KNOW he always delivers incredible images. I’m grateful to have had so many opportunities to work with him & opportunities to capture moments like these!

Sharing this announcement again as a post instead of as a story, especially as some of you may have received an automated email from me in the past hour or so. I have no idea what happened (technology is HARD y'all) and I have cancelled all pending emails, but I apologize sincerely if you received multiple from me this evening 😭

In 2024, I will be stepping away from photography for a bit to focus on myself & my mental health. I may still be sharing photos here, but they will likely all be from past sessions/weddings, unless otherwise noted. I will not be scheduling any new clients, at least for the time being; I feel it’s important for me to walk into the year without expectations, and without the anxiety of failing to deliver the quality & the service/experience that people deserve.

I am SO grateful for all the opportunities to connect and meet with so many amazing people over the past few years, and I have loved helping capture so many incredible love stories and important moments.

I look forward to the day where I can refocus my energy and efforts into my photography again, and hoping it will be soon but certainly not willing to rush it. 2023 has been a tough year for me emotionally and I know I haven’t been the best version of myself.

Please know that I appreciate all of you for being here & for being patient with me over the past year, personally and professionally ❤️

I have so many love stories to share from summer & fall I haven’t had the opportunity to post about yet! This dreamy lakeside beachy-boho wedding was such a vibe. It poured immediately following the ceremony - but cleared up again just in time for dinner and dances! Isn’t that what they say, though - rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck? 🥰✨ Also, unrelated kinda BUT we snacked on possibly the best spanakopita I have ever had, and tbh I still think about it 🤤
