Pearls and Perlage. Method Oregon wrapped up their sparkling wine event weekend with the “choose your own adventure” Sunday mini events. My friends at Björnson Vineyard invited me, naturally I brought my camera as a plus one. Amazing pours from Bjornson, St. Innocent Winery brynmawrvineyards Iterum Wines and delicious oysters from Haystack Shellfish Co.

Mark Vlossak with St. Innoocent Winery did a disgorgement demonstration and allowed guests to participate. It was a very interesting and tasty way to spend a beautiful Sunday in the valley.

If you enjoy traditional method sparkling wines- all the wines I tasted from these wineries were delicious and I’d recommend any to my bubble loving buddies.

So excited for this Sunday; a Method Oregon event at Björnson Vineyard Pearls and Perlage features two of my favorite things: bubbles and oysters. 🍾 🦪 Mark Vlossak of St. Innocent Winery will present a special disgorgement demonstration and you’ll be able to taste sparkling wines from Bjornson, St. Innocent Wine, Interum Wines, and Bryn Mawr Vineyards…plus snack on Netarts Bay oysters. I’m working on a fun year-long project for the Willamette Valley Visitors Association. Taking all the photos of all the things the valley has to offer. Spring was full of blooms, gardens, honey tasting, waterfalls, and happenings in Corvallis and McMinnville. Enjoy a few favorites from the Spring session.

Björnson is a beautiful winery with amazing wine. Nestled deep in the valley, offers everything you need for a wonderful winery experience; views, cheerful staff, lovely Pinots and Chardonnays, and killer charcuterie boards. (Plus the coolest wine dog and games!) Class and charm. Be sure to put Björnson on your next wine stop.

uses albums/songs as inspiration for their wine names and artwork. Lovers of music and grapes have to check out Compris! Fun wines, fun people, great vibes. (Their Blanc de Noir and Chardonnay 🙌)

I photographed their wine bottles with accompanying records. Such a fun project- I played around with lighting on a handful of setups. Matching light/shadows for Tom Petty, The Doors, and Pink Floyd. And yes, I even created a “super nova.”😉

Inspiration for my bachelorette dinner tonight. After my shoot with today I picked up some burrata and strawberries. Will it be as delish as Chef Carter’s? No 😉 But still yummy, I’m sure.
