I believe the deep peace we feel in the quiet of the wilderness is a reminder of God’s love—His creation drawing us close and revealing that He made this world for us to experience His presence….and if I forget that….sometimes He puts a heart shaped rock to remind me.

Cades Cove in Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The endless parade of cars endlessly circling looking for bears is annoying but pulling over and letting the wildlife come to you is quite enjoyable even if you see fewer animals.
