Today, the work of Cindy Russell Photography was featured on a WGME news story highlighting the incredible impact of Maine Footy and their mission to inspire the next generation of female athletes. The segment showcased Maine’s first pro-am women’s soccer club and the growing opportunities for women in the sport.

As a photographer, there is something special about knowing an image helped tell a story that reaches beyond the field. Every photograph captures more than a game. It captures dedication, teamwork, determination, and the moments that inspire young athletes to dream bigger.

Senior night. Undefeated season. Eleven seniors. One incredibly special team.

These girls don’t just know how to win, they know how to have fun doing it. The energy, chemistry and love for the game was impossible to miss tonight, and it made capturing these moments even more meaningful.

Congratulations to these seniors and this entire program on an unforgettable season so far.

These girls brought the energy from start to finish and it definitely showed on the field. Here are a few highlights from an exciting matchup and a team that continues to play with heart, grit, and determination.
