for the past five years, i’ve been coaching photographers inside my mentorship program, ascend. i feel so fortunate to have met and worked with women who are building such cool things, expanding their businesses, deepening their self trust, and going after (and hitting) their creative goals. seriously i feel so lucky to do this work, it’s incredibly important and these women inspire me every day. ❤️
last weekend, we rounded out the last ascend cohort with a sweet styled shoot at one of my favorite maine wedding venues with such a fun team. it was so nice to meet up in person and see everyone before we head into a busy summer of photography.
as is the name of the program, it is time for me, to ascend to another height in my own coaching business! as the chapter of coaching ONLY photographers is ending, a new path lies ahead for me. i’ve known for quite some time that my reach just needed to be expanded beyond the wedding industry, because the conversations we were having, so many other women who weren’t wedding photographers were needing to have as well. creative business owners, women who have lost their way, those who feel bored, or burnt out, or pivoting, or anxious and can’t make decisions, or just want to have more fu***ng fun in their lives. this space is for you.
so from here, my new world is still coming into focus, but i’m bringing along the values of community, creativity, imagination, beauty and more as pillars of the work we do.
creativity and play are not the reward for doing the “productive” stuff, they ARE the way that you can reach your biggest goals and live your most fun and fulfilling life, i believe that wholeheartedly. ✨
