Our wedding was an adventure, not just for the two of us but for our closests friends and family as well :)
We chose an intimate destination wedding on a small, quiet island in Greece. I searched online for countless hours looking for a venue that spoke to me. We didn't want to get married on the typical tourist islands, instead we looked for something more quiet, a place akin to how we like to travel.
Having been a part of so many weddings and elopements over the years, I knew I wanted to combine my favorite parts of both elopements and weddings to create something that felt aligned with who we are.
We wanted the adventurous, mountaintop feel that you get from certain northwest elopements, but we wanted it somewhere warm and arid, overlooking the ocean. I kept coming back to this church at the top of the hill, surrounded by incredible views. We honestly loved that we had to "hike" up to the top of the hill on foot to get married here. It felt like the right place to share our vows to each other.
We centered our wedding around what mattered most to us. Enjoying a long, candle-lit, family style dinner full of fresh seafood and good w**e. I had all my girls by my side as I got ready that day. Andrew and I opted for a sunset ceremony so we could sleep in, take the morning slow and enjoy the sun going down from the best view on the island. And last but not least we danced night away with all of our people!!
We have so many beautiful memories that we'll cherish for a lifetime and sooo many more photos I can't wait to share!!!
