Hi everyone!!! It’s been quite some time since I last posted (almost 4 months!), so I thought I’d come on here and give a little update on my life! I am absolutely LOVING Nashville & marriage life. Truly, life could not be better right now.

With new places come new challenges and starting your life over in a new state is hard enough, so imagine trying to restart a business form the ground up all over again 🥲 Which is why I’ve decided to close my books for MLP until further notice! It’s been lingering in my mind for a while, and I have prayed over this decision for the last months and feel that this is where the Lord is calling me to lead my business during this time in my life. I am so excited to accept the call and focus on my teaching career & marriage in TN!

What does this mean for my current clients? Absolutely nothing is changing if you have already booked with me. I am soooo excited for my weddings in 2025!!

What does this mean for my future clients and my people who have followed this journey? Well, sadly, I will be stepping away from all responses and social medias that have to do with my business for a while. Molly Lynn Photography has been my baby since I started during COVID, but if I am being honest, I just don’t have the time or energy to work two jobs right now. (Maybe it has to do with just wanting to relax with my husband on the weekends 🙈💓)

You may see some post from me here and there sharing my favorites photos or people— but other than that I will no longer be sharing to grab the attention of those wanting photos done. THANK YOU for the support that you all have shown me for years, and I hope to be back soon, once I’ve settled into my new life here in Tennessee!

Megan & Ryan !!!! I don’t even have a caption that explains the beauty of this entire day. They are two people that share the JOY of Lord and it was sooooo evident! I couldn’t be more excited to share these because it genuinely was just a great day ♥️

Hiiiiiii everyone !!!!! Long time no see but for good reasons 🫶🏼 I realize this looks quite literally ✨nothing✨ like me anymore but I have 0 updated pics LOL

I decided to take practically 3 months from my business social media because of how it drastically controlled my life. When I posted, what I posted, and just living more on my phone responding to messages, editing photos, and so on. I came off of busy season and just needed a break!

As most of you know, I’m also a teacher! A loooot of my time is spent in the classroom, and I’m done working by the end of the day. (Who wouldn’t be— right?!!) At the beginning of the school year I started a TikTok channel (yes, this is a shameless plug) where I recently hit 100k followers 🥹🫶🏼 it’s consumed a lot of my time too, but I’m learning how to manage!

Just wanted to hop on here and say that I’m slowly getting back in the groove of things! I havent had many shoots in the past couple of months and it truly has been a breath of fresh air. If you feel like you need a break— take one! Social media will be here when you get back 💖

Just a reminder that I’m also I’M GETTING MARRIED IN JUNE 💍

I’ve got a lot to do between now and then which is why I’ve decided to take a small step back and I am not taking any new inquires for the remainder of 2024 at the moment. If I’m being honest, I’m so excited for it! This is going to allow me to work closely with my brides and couples without the rest of my chaotic life getting in the way. Remember, I chose the word intentional this year, so I’m being intentional with my time

Photography will also be here when I get back. It was a big decision, especially since this is my second job, but I feel it’s what the Lord has put on my heart so I can be fully present in this season of engagement. I have many weddings booked that I cannot wait to serve but in the meantime— I hope you’re well and I’m hopefully going to start back to my regularly postings once I’ve starting shooting again this upcoming spring! 🌼🫶🏼✨

Goooooodmorning :)))) here’s me and my sappy end of year post! I don’t have any big announcements or website releases— but I do have me and my little heart and my hope to give you some encouragement

hopping on to wish you all the best new year & hope you had the most joyful Christmas!! things have been so busy this holiday season and I am SO thankful for that but boy am I ready for it to slow down 🤪

if you’ve been here this entire year with me, THANK YOU 😭💞 this year has been the toughest transitional year into becoming a teacher and continuing being a photographer. I’m coming to the realization I booked myself as a full time photographer with part time availability. truly wasn’t the wisest decision I’ve ever made, but hey! you live and you learn lolol

every year I come up with a word for myself and in 2024 my word is INTENTIONAL

Intentional giving. Intentional seeking. Intentional relationships. Intentional communication. Intentional lifestyle.

doing everything around for me the glory of the gospel!! in my personal life, business life, and teacher life— I want to radiate joy, love, and intentionality.

2023 was one of the best years of my life, so I am so expectant of what the Lord has laid out for me in 2024.

If 2023 wasn’t the best for you, please don’t lose hope. You’ve made it to the end and I am SO proud of you!!!! That’s enough to celebrate. enjoy some uplifting messages from Morgan Harper Nichols & share with your friends if feel like they need an little inspo too ♡

JORDYN AND JUSTIN ARE GETTING MAAAARRIEEDDDD !!!!!!!! ♡

The planning of this proposal was SO FUN and I am ecstatic for these two !!!! many hugs, smiles, tears & laughter from this gang 🤠🎄🥂 Jordyn’s family planned and trip to see the lights and everyone was in on it except J 🥹🥹

Christmas break has officially started which means that I’ll be in my little hole of editing between wrapping gifts, spending time with family, and just plain hanging out 🤪 happy hollaaaadays!

this is what my last session of the year looks like while only having 30 minutes before the sun goes down 🌞 might be the quickest I’ve done— and one of the sweetest 🥲 can’t wait to get whitney & josh married here in May !!!! 🌄

now to go into my editing cave && not come out for the rest of the year 🫣 my goal is complete all ✨7✨ remaining wedding galleries and then work on content day related editing

I decided to take majority of the month of December off with a few shoots here and there. since I didnt get an entire month off, I’ve decided to book nothing in January! it’ll give me time to find true rest and start of 2024 on a good foot 🙂

the art of noticing is truly such a beautiful thing. photography has taught me a lot— but nothing compares when you understand the importance of capturing things that you typically wouldn’t see elsewhere. grandparents talking, THE dress, forehead kisses, painted smiles on all. there is so much passion & meaning behind the simple things ♥
