This photo is sweet… But once you know the story behind it, it becomes so much more. 🤍

This is a great-great-grandmother holding her newest great-great-grandbaby.

A moment that, at the time, was just a quiet little snuggle. A tiny baby in her arms. A family together.

But now, this image is a piece of history.

That sweet little girl will grow up with a photograph that shows her where she came from, the generations who loved her before she could even remember, and a connection she’ll be able to hold onto forever.

This is why I believe photographs matter.

They aren’t just pictures hanging on a wall. They are memories, stories, and pieces of our family history that we get to pass down 🤍

Summer with kids is equal parts magical and exhausting ☀️💛

One minute we're boating on the lake, making s'mores around the fire, and staying up way too late for ice cream... the next I'm wondering where all the laundry is coming from how there are already crumbs on the floor again 😅

I'm trying to soak up these little moments because I know they'll be grown before I know it. The messy hair, sandy feet, popsicle-stained smiles, and endless adventures are what summer is all about.

Baby Zoey was an absolute dream for her newborn session.💕

Her big brother and sister were so well behaved and so excited to celebrate their new baby sister. It was so sweet to watch them love on her throughout the session.

Miss Zoey let me try just about every pose and setup I had planned, only getting a little sassy toward the end, which is pretty much expected for any newborn session 😊

She is absolutely precious and it's clear she's already surrounded by so much love. I feel so grateful to have captured these first memories for such a wonderful family. Welcome to the world, sweet girl🤍

All set up for a birthday cake smash session! 🎂

Today is all about getting everything ready: pinning backdrops, pulling props, charging batteries, packing gear, and making sure every little detail is set before my client arrives.

It's one of those parts of photography that most people don't see, but it's also one of my favorite parts. I love creating a space where little ones can have fun and parents can just enjoy watching the memories unfold.
