Some of the sweetest, gentlest dogs we have come through for the Fur Families Project are rescues.

And wow, sometimes we’re at a loss for words when people share the lives their new companions have been through.

We can only imagine what they would say about their experience if those adorable little faces could talk.

And yet there they are. Tails wagging, quick hand licks, and just waiting for next round of pets.

If only humans could be more like that.
