Found a very large 'Spring Snow' Crabapple tree. It is specifically noted for its heavy display of white flowers without the subsequent "messy" fruit typical of other crabapples. It is a popular ornamental choice because its blossoms create a "cloud-like" effect in mid-April to May.

You know Spring has sprung when the Lilacs are blooming! With that being said, tomorrow night and Thursday night are are both only going to be slightly above freezing!

The Great Blue Heron is the largest heron species found in North America and is easily identified by several key features: They have a slate-blue body with a wide black stripe above the eye. A long, yellow, dagger-like bill used for spearing prey like fish and amphibians.

These birds can stand nearly five feet tall and have a wingspan reaching over six feet. They are patient hunters often seen standing motionless in shallow water, waiting for the perfect moment to strike at their prey.

Anyone notice a small turtle on our right side of the pic?

I had a great market experience last Saturday! I sold a few pics and magnets. Had a returning customer, whom I am helping decorate his new home. Made new friends, as usual. A young woman approached me about doing a custom job for her engagement photos, with discussions of covering their upcoming wedding next Spring. I was invited to be involved in a vendor event on a few Wednesday nights, for artists only; no flea market or farmer's market items. The best part of the market was being invited by not one, but two, business owners in the local area to exhibit my work (for sale). One of them owns a coffee shop, and the other an art studio. I told my friends and family that I attend these markets mainly for networking purposes. It has taken me three yrs, but I finally feel like this is all falling into place, and may actually be a lucrative business instead of a hobby.
