Got my fall color sunstar picture framed this morning! It definitely looks more bad@$$ in person! It looks really good and am excited to have it hanging up in the house in the coming days. Hard to believe it's been 5 years since I shot this, and it's still one of my favorite fall pictures.

Something a little different. Finally getting around to posting this cool sunset photo from my California trip in June. Almost every morning and every evening in Southern California, depending on the tume of year, it's foggy. The fog bank rolls out late morning and comes back close to sunset. I had mere seconds to capture this before the fog bank took over and im so glad I captured this! Posting this to Facebook first before Instagram!

Posting this on Facebook first! I finally got around to editing my northern lights photo from a few weeks ago. Every now and then, with photography, I capture an image and think "wow this is one of my best" before I even upload it to my laptop. This image is one of them! For a long time, I struggled with doing night time photography. Its a total 360° compared to daytime. Couple years ago, my good friend Bryan Snider helped me with practicing night shots. To this day, I still remember everything he said, and things to do prior to taking night shots, and I do these things every time and it's helped tremendously. I have never had the chance to shoot the northern lights before. For one, I live in Arizona and two, I haven't seen them in probably 20 years, wayyy before photography was part of my life.

A few weeks ago when the aurora borealis was visible from Arizona, I knew I had to take this rare opportunity. I'm super happy I did, because I captured my best night time photo ever, and probably one of my best overall photos I've ever taken! This was taken at Watson Lake in Prescott. I dont have a name for this image yet but I hope you enjoy this photo as much as I do!

My 2024 calendar proof arrived this morning and everything looks perfect!! I'm beyond happy. I did a different design this year and printed it on a pearl paper, which gives the images a slight shine. Definitely a step above from last year. Please reach out to me and let me know if you're interested, and how many you would like. Paypal and venmo are the easiest ways to pay me so I can put in your order! You'll really like this calendar, all new images and every image is colorful. Feel free to share this as well!

Exciting trip coming up this week! I cannot wait to get a bunch of new photos and have a lot of editing work to do when I get home. I have a feeling I am going to get a lot of new and impressive photos I can add to my gallery and to my 2023 calendar! Stay tuned and thanks for the support!

Feeling really good this morning, knowing one of the most beautiful hiking areas in northern az and one of the best places to see an entire plethora of golden aspens in the fall, has mostly survived the pipeline fire in Flagstaff! Really impressive work by the firefighters for putting in the endless work to save an area nationally known. There are parts right off inner basin that got burned pretty bad but the entirety of lockett meadow and inner basin are intact. Its safe to say that we will be able to head up there this fall and see the colors once again. Check out my photo from the inner basin trail from 2 years ago and ive also attached a map of the pipeline fire.
