There are some sessions that mean a little more, and this was definitely one of them.

I’ve known this amazing young man since he was just about 4 years old. Watching him grow up through the years has been such a privilege, but seeing him standing here, so grown up and so deeply in love, was something I wasn’t quite prepared for. It was an emotional reminder of just how quickly time passes.

Being trusted to capture moments like these is one of the greatest gifts of my job. From tiny toddlers to adults starting new chapters, I feel incredibly lucky to preserve these memories along the way.

There is something so special about watching a family grow through my camera.

Photographing family is always a little extra special. ❤️

Getting to capture these moments for my sister and her beautiful family means more than I can put into words. Watching these kids grow, hearing their laughter, and freezing these little moments in time is such a gift.

Some sessions are extra special because they’ve become part of a family’s story. ❤️

I’ve been photographing this beautiful young lady for so many years that I honestly can’t even remember when her very first session was. I just know she was so little! Watching her grow from a little girl into an incredible young woman has been such an honor.

Some clients become so much more than clients—they become lifelong friends. ❤️

I’ve known this amazing mama for so many years. We used to work together, with her creating beautiful hair and makeup while I captured memories behind the camera.

Since then, I’ve had the honor of photographing so many milestones in her life. From before she met her husband, to their wedding day, maternity session, newborn photos for each of their sweet babies… and now this beautiful mommy & me session.

Watching families grow through my lens is one of the greatest gifts of being a photographer. Being trusted to preserve these moments year after year is something I’ll never take for granted.
