This lady has an amazing, beautiful smile and definitely passed it on two her sweet daughters! We were still loving the last bits of fall in Bangor when Karen came in for her portrait sitting. It was really hot in the studio and these three were so patient and fun to hang out with.

It's not about living in the past or wishing you could change it. It's about embracing your unique journey with all of its ups and downs and finding strength in your resilience. The first 40 Over 40 Gala celebration was absolutely beautiful! It was so fun to see some of you ladies again and catch up. I am so grateful for the love and support from all of the participants! These images are courtesy of my beautiful friend Nanette Faye Photography. I also was very blessed to have Nanette, Justina Eldridge and Amber Heidle to help with all things Gala!

I didn't realize how much of in impact it would make on me to see all of our amazing artwork displayed all together on easels. I didn't think I would cry during the evening but was proven wrong again! It felt surreal to me and the whole night flew by so quickly!

It was a wonderful year of portrait sessions and meeting new people! While planning a party is definitely not in my strength category, I am already looking forward to the next one.

Thank you to everyone who helped plan, set up, photograph and make an attempt at keeping me calm!!
