We end where I started taking photos. I stopped at the post office to set up my camera away from the crowds.

This is the James A. Farley Post Office, attached to Moynihan Train Hall. It opened in 1914 as the city's main post office and is a beautiful example of Beaux-Arts architecture. I love the ornate plaster ceilings inside.

Chelsea has to be the contemporary art capital of the world. I spent so long just wandering around the galleries there and honestly could've stayed for hours.

Pigeons are the real residents of New York lol.
But I think the second photo is probably what makes NYC feel like NYC to me. One person confidently strutting through an almost completely empty street, surrounded by all this mishmash of new and old architecture. You almost never see a street this empty, and I love how it makes the city feel like it was built for people rather than cars.

This is the Princeton Cathedral and it's absolutely stunning and the peak of Gothic architecture for me. Wish I could take you all inside that day as the stained windows cast light of many colors inside and it's absolutely breathtaking.
