4 years since my good friend, legend, and mentor Brian Gassaway passed. Always thinking of you and would love your guidance now more than ever 🖤🖤💔

Seems that the news has broken. Was waiting for his family to be informed before I posted something.

My good friend, mentor, coach, and one of the most honorable, kind and respectful people Brian Gassaway that I’ve had the honor of knowing has passed away.

I’ve experienced many deaths just in the last month alone not to mention my life but this is the first one that’s brought me to tears.

He trained me for free when I was struggling financially. Got me my first championship belt. He got me work, he went above and beyond for all the people he trained. He gave everyone many chances and if you know MMA you know we’ve all got our own demons.

I’m at a loss, there are so few people in this world that I consider as samurai, as honorable humans with kind souls but he was one of the few.

I love you Brian and I hope you are at peace. I don’t know what the point of a social media post is here since it won’t bring him back but I want the world to know what an incredible human being he was. Look up his fighting resume too, UFC veteran, Pancrase veteran, years fighting in Thailand. MMA hall of famer. Just an absolute legend of fighting and the most humble person you’d ever meet.

And anyone, please please if you are struggling reach out to me or anyone you can confide in. There’s no shame in asking for help. We are all one.

After delivering 42 tons of military rations for the Armed Forces of Ukraine we delivered another 20 tons of humanitarian aid for various humanitarian locations like this orphanage here. Although we focused heavily on the military we always helped the local Ukrainians with whatever we could. Слава Україні!

Happy birthday to the one and only . One of my favorite people I met in Ukraine. Two equally crazy people that had some wild adventures in a foreign war. Miss you homie maybe when the war is over we can chill when boombox city has cooked out.
