Can I let you in on a little secret?

A session around 2–3 months has a magic all its own.

Newborn sessions are quiet and sleepy. Tiny details, curled-up poses, and those first fleeting days.

But a couple months later? You start to see little glimpses of who they’re becoming. Curious eyes that follow you around the room. Sweet stretches. Little expressions. The beginnings of smiles. More interaction, more personality, and parents who have had a chance to settle into life together.

Neither season is better—they’re just beautifully different.

To be able to take pictures of my sweet boy without any tubes, wires, or machines beeping in the background… after over a month in the NICU are sweet boy is home in the entire time. He was there. I was dreaming of the day that I could take these photos.

the prettiest mama amongst the wildflowers 🪻

One of my favorite things about the Bump to Baby Collection is getting to tell the whole story—not just one chapter. From the waiting and growing to meeting your baby and watching them change so much in that first year… it’s all worth remembering.

this session was shot by my dear friend + edited by me. Being on hospital bedrest for 3 weeks now has been so tough but I’m so grateful for the support of my photography community coming together to make these sessions still happen for my clients. Everyone has been just so amazing and I feel so thankful I still get to be apart if their story, even if it’s more behind the scenes than I would like.
