to watch this sweet family grow over the years has been such a gift.

I first met the Neal family when they were expecting their third baby, and I’ve had the privilege of capturing so many seasons for them since. Getting to photograph them as a family of six and document their fourth baby’s newborn days felt extra special.

Watching families grow right in front of my camera—getting to know your babies, seeing them become big brothers and sisters, and being invited back for each new season—is one of my very favorite parts of this job 🥹

I’ve challenged myself this year to really step outside of my comfort zone and push myself creatively. and it has given me so much joy to see you all embrace the color, the joy, the in-between moments and all the things that make your family yours.

maternity sessions are about so much more than the bump.

they’re about celebrating mama — everything her body is doing, everything she’s carrying, and the beautiful season she’s in.

but they’re also about them. the little hands that still reach for hers. the big brother + sister who are already making room for one more. the family exactly as they are, right before everything changes again.

this season deserves to be remembered, too.
