Huge thanks to Middleton Farms and Chick-fil-A for putting together such a fun event for families in our community. We’re honored to be part of it and can’t wait to see all the smiling faces looking up at us when the eggs start falling!

We’re officially announcing something BIG at Tulip Festival…

On April 4, we’re hosting our brand new Helicopter Egg Drop — sponsored by Chick-fil-A — and this will be one of the most unforgettable moments of the entire festival.

Here’s what’s included for every participating child:
✨ 20,000 eggs — many dropped from a helicopter!
✨ A scoop of candy
✨ An Easter-themed toy
✨ A souvenir egg hunt bag
✨ Photos with the Chick-fil-A Cow
✨ Chick-fil-A serving their breakfast menu at the farm

🚁 Helicopter Drop happening between 12:00PM–1:00PM (exact timing depends on weather conditions)

We recommend arriving between 10AM–12PM so your family can enjoy the farm before the drop. All Tulip Festival activities will be open — explore the tulip fields, enjoy the attractions, grab breakfast, and make a full morning of it before the big moment in the sky.

This is a $5 per child add-on experience (in addition to Tulip Festival admission).

It’s going to be a fun weekend with an amazing Hot air balloon display and helicopter rides! Come take a helicopter ride with us!🎈🚁

Tomorrow is the day!

Here's the plan- The pilots briefing is held at 6:30am each morning before launch. During this meeting the pilots and members of the balloon rally committee go over the weather report and discuss all possible outcomes of launching. After the briefing they send up a pi-ball to see how it reacts so they can get a good sense of how their balloons will react. It is at that time that they decide if the launch is going to happen or not and we post, here on social media, immediately after that decision. Thank you for understanding!

Check our reminders and Q&A posts for additional information. Pets are allowed on field in a specific area only. Drones and smoking are not allowed.
