Another restoration to share with you. It has been a little tricky putting the pieces together in my family tree branches when a LOT of the names are used over and over.
With the help of AI and photoshop, It is quite almost overwhelming how much detail we can pull back out of old photos.

I wonder what color eyes Shelt actually had.

It is really interesting to put life back into an old photo.
James Shelton Alsup was my 3rd Great Uncle and he comes with quite the story.

James Shelton "Shelt" ALSUP (1844-1876) - age 34. Killed when he refused to be arrested for killing a man who beat him nearly to death in Arkansas. Shelt and Sheriff H.H. Vickery were both killed during the standoff. The Alsup's 4 year old daughter Mary Artena ALSUP also died.

It sure was a beautiful day for an indoor photo session yesterday. I had so much fun with this family that I was a little bummed when it was time to leave.
