We’ve been looking forward to Emily and Sean’s wedding since they booked with us last summer. Believe it or not, this was our first wedding at Providence City Hall and Gracie’s - both seriously incredible spaces in this little city of ours. It was the perfect mix of history, good food, and quirky fun (enter the Dusty Planet).

I could not be more thrilled to have met these two, captured their love, and become their friends through this process. This review meant everything to me and made me tear up. It’s always my goal to give our couples more than just pretty pictures but also a beautiful and fun experience that they’ll remember when they look back on their photos.

My first full year as a full time business owner, and it was my most successful one yet by a long shot! Thank you a million times over for supporting me and choosing Evan and I to document some of your biggest life moments. We love you all so much!

This year was one of massive growth for RTP but also a little chaotic with my health journey. But I’m feeling so grateful to this business for giving me the flexibility to be able to devote so much time and money to my health.

Wedding season is coming to a close soon so you know what that means… time to start actually taking the time to share all the INCREDIBLE weddings we got to photograph this year!!!

Starting with a few snippets of Alix and Ben’s 70s disco wedding. Their venue is a working studio space, so they decided to project some dope, trippy, colorful scenes onto the wall behind their dance floor. And obviously we had to take a moment to get some artsy photos in front of it. The ones we took on film I’m particularly obsessed with. 🌈

Your wedding photographer or your new best friend? BOTH!

In our reviews you’ll see mention of our couples feeling comfortable around us, their guests thinking we were just another friend with a camera, and us becoming fast friends. That’s because when we say that you’re hiring your new best friends, we’re not bullsh*tting you. We mean it!

Becoming friends makes the day feel so much more fun and your photos more natural.

How do we do this? Well you’ll just have to hire us and find out! 😉

How to make an entrance: a lesson from Kenya and Jane

On a cool September evening on the coast of Maine, Jane and Kenya hosted their wedding on a family member’s property. And to kick things off, they cryptically told their guests to line up along the dock for a surprise - where they were greeted by the brides arriving via boat to the ceremony! It was like watching celebrities arrive to the red carpet - photos and videos and hugs and high fives were thrown out while they ran down the middle of their guests. It was the perfect way to begin their wedding and really set the tone for a fun, relaxed and community oriented night.
