I’ve struggled to find words to express how meaningful this day was. Kaitlyn & Michael’s 10-year vow renewal reminded all of us present that while committing to love someone has so many complexities, learning curves & growing pains, it is also so beautifully simple.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We just say yes to one another. We say it over, and over, and over again. In the joy and the pain, the valleys and mountaintops, we say yes. We rest knowing that we are fully known and fully loved, as we are in turn fully known & fully loved. We promise that on our wedding day, but 10 years later, to know what that love is, to know what that love means in every season of life, well that is a love worth honoring with everything we have. What an incredible honor to get to witness and capture a celebration of such a love.

I’d like to submit a formal apology to all my bridesmaids because if I knew what I know now, I probably wouldn’t have put you all in matching knee-length polka dot dresses with statement yellow jewelry 🫣

Luckily will never need to issue such an apology because these looks were a solid 10/10 🥂

This was the most decadent, joyful, girls-girl event I’ve ever participated in, but then none of that is a surprise when and are running the show 💕🥂

These two infused their culture & personalities into every moment of their wedding day, and wow what a joy it was to capture. From the bride and groom led flash mob to their sweet pup making an appearance via a giant cardboard cutout, the day simply couldn’t belong to anyone else - and that’s exactly how it should be ❤️
