Officially entered my “sourdough era.”

It started with my sister wanting to teach my mom… and not wanting to feel left out, I decided I should learn too.

Now I find myself planning my day around my dough — which is very doable.

But it’s funny how we tell ourselves stories to keep from growing.
“It’s too hard.”
“It’s just a fad.”
“I don’t have time.”

Whatever the excuse may be.

The truth is, we actually can do hard things. We’re meant to stretch. To grow. To progress.

I think about this with photography too. If I hadn’t leaned into what my heart was telling me — if I had listened to the doubt instead — I wouldn’t have grown into the photographer (or person) I am today.

Sometimes growth looks like building a business.
Sometimes it looks like nurturing a starter on your counter.

Either way… don’t let the story stop you 🤍
